1 Countable and uncountable for food (or - Shopping list role play)

This is a fairly elementary exercise. I’ve learnt to never underestimate the usefulness of elementary exercises. I never underestimate the difficulty of teaching an elementary class.

2 Quantifiers for colleagues

This is definitely a bit more advanced than the exercise above. It focuses on some useful business vocabulary and quantifiers (all, most, some, a few, none etc.).

3 Describing graphs and trends (multiple choice)

This is a graph/vocabulary and multiple choice exercise for talking about graphs and trends. Actually, I created these because I was researching the best prompts for specialized topics and I formulated which seemed to be reliable (which I’ve included in the paid subscriber section below). I wanted to experiment and test them out for multiple and obscure topics, so I’ve included exercises for business, medical science and wine making (!). And with a bit of proof reading and editing, it was a very successful test run.

4 Describing trends (gap fill)

This is a variation on the exercise above, using the same vocabulary, but it’s a gap fill exercise and is a bit more challenging. I think it’s a pretty nice critical thinking activity.
